Pavilion Development in Tokyo

From October 2012 I have enrolled the University of Tokyo for a masters degree on Digital Fabrication, during the first semester we have developing construction methods with tensegrity systems. Trough the use of digital tools as Rhino, Grasshopper and Kangaroo we simulate the environment on how the structures will work and after that we develop physical mock ups. This is a research lab, so there is no end but the time. What I am showing here is the result of the first semester of work, we will carry on to develop the system to built it scale 1:1 in August 2013.

WELCOME

CURRENTLY DEVELOPING A DIGITAL FABRICATION RESEARCH MASTERS DEGREE AT TOKYO UNIVERSITY.

Dear friends, this is a sample of my work, carried out completely by me or while working during my time for SheppardRobson, BWA or Oxford Architects.

This works as a portfolio for you to consider my qualifications as an architect by either work for you or with you and for colleagues to share our work.

I hope you enjoy and thank you for your time.

Miguel
